The heuristic evaluation (or expert analysis) is an exercise carried out by experts in the usability field with the aim to detect the main errors and problems in use.
It can be carried out in the initial phases of a project to check the effectiveness of a prototype or to identify the possibility of improvement and refinement in a system under construction.
During the heuristic evaluation the following aspects of the interface were analyzed amongst others:
The analysis generates an exhaustive report with the main errors categorized according to their importance. As well as suggestions to improve and sometimes examples of better market practices.
